Ms. Hernández has been the chief of the Radiation Protection Technical Directorate Cabinet since July 2018.
Ms. Hernández graduated from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 1986 (MSc in Biochemistry) and became a Radiation Protection Specialist in 1990.
She joined the Nuclear Safety Council in 1989. Within the CSN Ms. Hernández held positions of the following Departments: Radioactive Installations; Occupational Radiation Protection; Personnel Dosimetry; R&D in Radiation Protection and Management System and Quality Assurance of the regulatory body. Since 2014 she focus her work on the Radiation Protection Technical Directorate Cabinet.
Ms. Hernández has been member of Group of Experts referred to in Article 31 of the Euratom Treaty since 2020.
Ms. Hernández has been the representative of Spain to UNSCEAR since the sixty-fifth session in 2018.
Ms. Robles is a technician in the natural radiation area at the Nuclear Safety Council since 2015. From 1987 to 2015, she developed her professional activity at the Centre for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research on issues of Radiological Protection of the Public and the Environment. During this period, she participated in the study of the physical and chemical processes that affect the transport and transfer of radionuclides in the environment.
Ms. Robles has graduated in Biological Sciences, specialized in Environmental Biology, from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain.
Ms. Robles has been responsible for radiological evaluations in all exposure situations, including the development of new methodologies and tools for the evaluation of the radiological impact on the public, workers or the environment, due to discharges into the environment from nuclear and radioactive facilities, including NORM installations.
Ms. Robles is alternate representative of Spain to UNSCEAR for the 70th session in 2023. From 2012 to 2015, she was an advisor of Spainish delegation to UNSCEAR.
