Ms. Auxtova joined the Regional Public Health Authority in Banská Bystrica in 1983 and has been involved in different projects concerning radiation protection. She has worked as a regulator in several positions, including radiation protection section head, in many regulatory domains for more than 35 years.
Ms. Ludmila Auxtova graduated from the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Nuclear Physics and Engineering in Prague in 1983 (Dipl. Eng. in Nuclear Physics, specialization Dosimetry and Applications of Ionizing Radiation) and became a Radiation Protection Specialist in 1986.
Ms. Auxtova has been member of Group of Experts established under Art. 37 of the Euratom Treaty (2021-2023) and of the IAEA Radiation Safety Standards Committe (2021-2023).
Ms. Auxtova has been the Alternate representative of Slovakia to UNSCEAR at its sixty-first session in 2014. She is the Representative since the sixty-second session in 2015.
